Affiliate Disclosure
In the interest of full transparency, and in line with U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidance: Stay Private Online makes money through affiliate links. Here is exactly how that works.
How we earn
Some of the links on this Site are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up for a VPN service, the provider may pay us a commission. This comes out of the provider's marketing budget — it never adds anything to your price. In many cases, the links carry the same discounts you would find on the provider's own site.
Why it doesn't bias our recommendations
We choose and rank VPNs based on independent testing, published security audits, jurisdiction and logging policies, pricing, device limits, and refund terms — not on what each program pays. The order on our comparison page would be identical if no affiliate program existed. When a provider pays well but doesn't earn its place, it doesn't appear; when a provider earns its place, we recommend it regardless of payout.
What we will never do
- We don't publish fake or invented reviews, ratings, or testimonials.
- We don't claim to have tested something we haven't.
- We don't hide the renewal price behind a low headline rate without telling you.
- We don't let a commission move a product up our list.
Networks and programs
We participate in affiliate programs operated directly by VPN providers and through affiliate networks such as [Impact, CJ Affiliate, and Awin]. These partners may set a cookie when you click through so a resulting sign-up can be credited to us. See our Privacy Policy for how that tracking works.
Always verify before you buy
VPN pricing and promotions change often. Whatever you read here, confirm the current price, plan, and money-back window on the provider's official website before purchasing.
